Naturopathy emphasises disease prevention and health promotion. By optimising wellbeing naturally, and addressing the root cause of a condition early, more serious illness and interventions can be prevented.

Health is optimized primarily through diet and lifestyle guidance, tailored to the unique requirements of each person. It takes into account current and past health, risk factors, genetic predisposition, and constitution type (the way someone responds to and manages stress and illness from a naturopathic perspective).

Once people understand their health needs, they are able to proactively manage their own wellbeing long-term. Ultimately, prevention is better than cure.
